Who doesn't love Thanksgiving crafts?

I'm Thankful for Busy Hands

Print hands with brown tempera (we made 6 each)

Kiddos cut around the hands leaving a white border
(For little ones, I drew the border with a pencil first)

Add beak with yellow triangle scrap and a googly eye (craft glue works best)

Add multicolored feathers to each finger

Cut a paper towel tube or toilet paper tube in half (or so) and connect with craft glue

Viola! A turkey napkin ring! Little hands are perfect for this project :)

11/21 ::Artistic Inspiration::

It took me 4 years to paint like Raphael, but a life time to paint like a child.

11/18 ::Inspiration::

Artists can color the sky red because they know it's blue. Those of us who aren't artists must color things the way they really are or people might think we're stupid.

Wind Chimes - Seriously Adorable.

First, use Acrylic to paint a wooden "plaque" piece (Michael's for $1)

We used twine because string tends to get easily tangled.
Second, choose fun "loud" items to tie to string. Wood is cute, but doesn't make noise. So, go to the hardware store and purchase nuts, washers, and anything metal. (Beads for color)
Add eye hooks to the bottom of the plaque to attach twine. Add S Hook on top to hang wind chime.

Finished product. She kept saying, "I love this."

VIOLA! Isn't this just the most adorable wind chime is ever did see? :)
